Kitchen
Finally, no more fake wood paneling is visible!
Yay! Only one more day (probably) of painting after last night! I stayed up til 3am in preparation for my overnight job that I'm starting soon. I made the flowers from the last post last night, too and part of those bottles. I've never been so tired at 3am, I thought I was going to literally fall asleep standing up.
The new color...
I'm starting to like my kitchen!
Yarn Beer
Yarn Store.
Beer bottle wrapped in yarn.
Another..
3 plus a flower I made in high school.
Then I made some paper flowers and added some design to the bottles... the one on the left reminds me of Rudolph!
Sticks and paper flowers... and a salsa jar.
Salsa jar with paper flowers, little rocks, yarn.
I've got more plenty more yarn and a couple more colors, and a million different sized bottles so I'm going to make more.

Doodling.
Let Go - Frou Frou
This has been my favorite song for about 3 years. I'm listening to it on repeat. Like I often do.
It used to make me feel like there was something to be excited about a few years ago when I needed to feel excited about something.
Still makes me happy to listen to it, takes me away. Plus I used to sing it to Ella to make her fall asleep when Krit was at work and Lella was itty bitty 6 months old. NOW SHE'S THREE.
I miss that girl.
Here's some stuff I just drew:
Ears.
Half man half woman thing.
Ear.
Swimming Turtle.
Cute fox.
Also, I got a second job. Jenny's chasing pennies.

Progress Feels Good.
Take a look at this photo.
-The first thing you probably notice (after the mess) is the 20 bottles of booze on the fridge. Yes, those are mine. I've saved them since March.
-The chair (positioned in front of the fridge door, of course) with the ridiculously ugly pattern on the back of it. It was here when we moved in and we used it EVERY SINGLE DAY. You should see the seat of it. It's absurd.
-My two magnets. One broke into three pieces, was glued, and broke again. In different spots. The other is a clip. Soon I'm going to make my own. Maybe I'll recycle those magnets. DUH.
Curtainless windows... also have those planned.. can't wait! Well. I guess I can.
And the ugly WALL, are you KIDDING ME?
So that's the first order of business.
Mario surprised me one day after I complained for months. He filled in the cracks!
Then we sanded... Dust saturates my house.
So anyways... did that to the whole kitchen.
(Toaster on floor.)
(Toaster on floor.)
And then! I found this... a gift from God. Because WOW I'm broke. So I just bought some light paint, and I'm using it as primer. Because I can do that. At this point Mario was sleeping and I was left to my own devices. He works overnights.
I took this picture after dinner and coffee. Which is normal, because he wakes up and eats dinner for breakfast, drinks coffee and LEAVES ME. The top of the cabinets is old wall, the bottom is 'primer-d' wall.
There may or may not be a beer pong table in that hallway. Who knows.
Oh! The chair seat is visible!
Will someone buy me a new oven? I don't know if I can fix that part.
I'm pretty proud of myself for accomplishing things today.
TODAY, I took moments to appreciate the NOW:
I'm thankful for the motivation..
I'm thankful for the deal on paint..
I'm thankful for reward points..
I'm thankful for no bank fees at Ulster Savings..
I'm thankful for knowing people in Kingston as I walked..
I'm thankful for the great weather (keep it coming! please?)
I'm thankful for Mario. Always.
I'm thankful for some so-much-needed closure I got today..
I'm thankful for my forever friends Kayla, Steph, Jenna, and Tabby.
I'm thankful I made wrong decisions, which brought me to the right place.
I was thankful for the day off.
I'm thankful for dinner.
I'm thankful for my mentality which allows me to not only crave but literally feel my growth towards becoming a happier, healthier, better person.
Off to bed... 2nd job interview in the a.m. Which I'm thankful for.
